LOVE DIVINE

Love is divine
And if eternal
Is not tarnished
Or depleted
With passing time
That would cause
A dulling of the memory
That you would think
That love is gone
The eternal
Cannot die
And love lives on
It continues beyond
The passing of a life
Upon this world
It lives beyond
The end of time.

As everything becomes nothing
And nothing becomes everything
And so live one moment there
Beyond the callous and the cruel
Without emotion in the skein of blank indifference
To self’s inflated ‘I’s.

Ah, if I could leave so much behind
Would not suffering itself be gone
As turning in the motion of the skies
It would be enough.

Then to earthly life again
I could descend and know
Its hours made possible
With such an inkling of
That which is retained
Of the ever pervading substance
Which is the life and breath
Of everything and all
That can ever be
Such that the soul shall dwell
In the knowledge that
It lives forever
In Eternity.

RISE OF THE INNER BLOSSOM

Can I be free
As a bird upon the wing
And see horizons
And be separate
From the earth below.

Must it only be through death
That I can [truly] enter life?

Can I be the quintessence of a glint
Reflecting in a drop of rain
Upon a trees twig?

Or is my identity to be found
In the smile of my mothers’ face?

Could I take one moment of my life
And say of that
That this is all I need
One moment of pure being
Captured in the flickering of time
Transcending everything

RECOGNITION

There is a gentle sweetness
That flows betimes
Between one heart
And another
I rather think
It is the communion
Of those who discover
Their connection
In some lifetime past
Their coming together
Is like the mingling
Of wine.

MUSING

Can I live and gain
A sense of other lives that I have lived
That I could link with bygone times
And to that which is beyond
As past and future
In the mystery of time
Merge together in a present now
Or might I grasp a notion of
The great upsurge of energy
Moving in progressive purpose
To successive goals
And ever keep my feeling for
The wonder of existence
in the field of consciousness
And not forget a visit to a sanctuary
Nor languish in a sea of circumstance
And drown, but rise and find a union
With ALL THAT IS and know the origin
Of light and sound pulsating
From the Source creating everything
Visible and invisible
And harmonise in this
The noblest quest that satisfies
The longing of the soul within.

Serendipity

I can’t believe it
A new level of consciousness comes in
Unexpected, not thought of, or even hoped for
Yet it is here
And now relaxed,
I enjoy that which has come upon me.
Like the quiet after the storms of yesterday
Or the ambiguities of former times
I am living
With a sense of mind
Attuned to something other-
Vibrations, colour, ambience-
What ever the past, it’s alrignt now.
I am resident in a new condition of mind
Transformed into a new world
Enlightening
Exhilarating
I am poised in wonderment

QUANTUM LEAP
I want to see a quantum leap
In the thinking of mankind
Knowing that the world we see
Is created by the thought
Of humanity at large
Do you complain about this world its state?
You helped to make it so
With the pattern of your thinking
From that our world evolves
But when we change our selves
The worlds begin to rectify
As our thoughts are channelled in
The courses of enlightenment
Beacons of a deeper understanding spread
A rise in consciousness occurs.
I want to see the peoples of the world unite
In the knowledge of a common purpose
To bring a worldwide transformation
In the knowledge of the unity of everything
Through the virtue of the common Source
That brought the worlds to be
From beyond all space and time.
I want to see a world
Where all the people know that they are one
In diversity
Sharing one reality
In that we can shake hands.

THE PRESENCE

The altar of the heart
Has a multi-coloured flame
The spring of life within
Gives a certain step
As a sense of wholeness
Flowers in the soul
And makes its link
Within my earthly being
As one Universal mind
Vibrates everywhere
And sub-atomic particles
Pop in and out
From one dimension to another
Are there not
Other worlds
To which I may belong?
And if I take the wings of the morning
And fly to the uppermost
I know that I would find
A presence there
A presence in
Felicitude.

VOICE OF NATURE

As the wind rustles in the trees
And leaves take in their nurturance
Fire and water interplay
In earth and sky
The animal kingdom treks
Birds take flight and fish swim on
A Universal Mind in-breathes all things
From galaxies and stars
Down to the sub -atomic
Creation manifests
As harmony inter-weaves
And natures’ voice speaks on
I am in all things, all things are in me
So let not fear arise within your heart
Be not conceited on account of your beliefs
All nations are special to me
None more special than any other
All things are contained in me
From the hightest mountain
To the deepest sea
There is one world, one people
One life presence everywhere
Remember that
And let the presence fill your life
Discover me in your heart
Discover me there.

EARTH WALKER

I look at myself at this present time
Who am I walking this planet?
Child of the universe
A part of everything
Having substance in the unseen
All things have significance
A tree, a bee, flying in the wind
Nothing is excluded
From the embrace of creative wholeness
Intimacy found in the finest detail
Never lose your wonder of life
Even if you have to endure a time or two
The depths shall lift you in the end
I might chase after poetry
To express the infinite
But perhaps only music
Can express the inexpressible
In a form beyond the grasp of words
Be content to move along the line
Of evolutionary purpose.
