BREAK OF DAY

BREAK OF DAY

Awake and kiss the dawn
Lift up the arms
To give a fond embrace
Make welcome, give a salutation
As filtering sunbeams dance upon your form
How long, how great their journey?
But now their special particles
Are here to touch upon your flesh
Spread upon your shoulders
Sparkle in your hair
Hail. Welcome dawn.
I sweetly revel in your fanned out play
In this precious moment of
The early time of day.

From its secret glade
Rising from its sleep, looks out a faun
Wide eyed in its gaze of innocence
Moving in its own epernal oneness
To brush upon some dew wet grasses
With its lips and step, so delicate
From its dappled bower

SUNRISE

SUNRISE

Over the rooftops
In early morning
I found him
Surprise full beaming
Molten red fury
Mass beyond the scales
Of human thinking
Streaming energy
Reaching out to me
Through 93 million miles
Lighting the purpose
Of another day.

new light

NEW LIGHT by John Lilley

New light
Is a vibration
Permeating through
The body of flesh
And the body of thought
Setting new harmonics
That your very existence
Has left behind
The things that used to be.
And a new quality of being
Has been added like an essence
Affecting every mood
That comes upon you
That the manner and the mode
Of your life has been transposed
As though into new dimensions
And brother meets brother
In the knowledge of a common spark
That is in the life of all.
